Earlier this year, writer Abbi Jacobson became the serendipitous recipient of a love letter sent more than 70 years ago from a WWII soldier stationed in North Carolina. The mysterious correspondence, postmarked in 1944, was intended for his wife, Mrs. Joseph O. Matthews.Touched by the love note, Jacobson and film-maker Todd Bieber started a crowd-sourcing project to help track down the rightful receiver.
