As the future Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina, Aonung prides himself on control-over the reef, over others, over himself-until Kel 'Hani disrupts it with a single laugh and a look held too long. She tells herself she dislikes his arrogance; he tells himself she's too stubborn. Yet the space between them tightens all the same, heavy with things unsaid and moments unfinished. Where restraint is tested, denial becomes habit, and the sea quietly shifts along with something neither of them is ready to face.

As the eldest son of the legendary Toruk Makto, Neteyam has never truly belonged to himself. His life is measured by expectations-strength without hesitation, obedience without question, honor without flaw. Raised to lead, to protect, and to become the perfect echo of his father's legacy, Neteyam carries the future of his family on his shoulders, even when the weight threatens to crush him. Ao'nung, the Metkayina prince and eldest son of Tonowari and Ronal, is everything Neteyam is not: selfish, arrogant, sharp-tongued, and unafraid to throw his status like a spear. And worse still-he is Metkayina. Then there is Ka'vani, daughter of Ikeyni, Olo'eykte of the Tayrangi clan. In the aftermath of the Great War, Jake and Neytiri forged a blood pact with Ikeyni: should each woman bear a child of the opposite sex, the two would be bound to one another. Neteyam and Ka'vani grew up knowing their futures were intertwined, though they would not meet until Ka'vani's tenth birthday-after which she came to live among the Omatikaya. Ka'vani is everything Neteyam has never been allowed to be-bold, sharp-tongued, reckless, and utterly unafraid to speak her mind. Where Neteyam follows the rules, Ka'vani challenges them, pulling him toward laughter, rebellion, and feelings he was never meant to entertain. As their bond deepens, the tides begin to shift, forcing the Sully family to make the impossible choice to leave everything they have ever known behind. But when Ka'vani encounters Ao'nung-the stubborn, hard-headed reef prince-the choice becomes even more complicated. Neteyam or Ao'nung. But on Pandora, why should the heart ever choose just one? Ao'nung/Neteyam x OC. (Ao'nung and Neteyam are not a ship in this story, sorry. They will share Ka'vani) SLOW BURN, mature themes, mature language, and violence included. I do not own any part of Avatar except for Ka'vani! All credit goes to James Cameron and his amazing work!!! ❤️

𝑴𝒀 𝑭𝑰𝑹𝑺𝑻 𝑭𝑨𝑵-𝑭𝑰𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 She was born for the forest. He was raised to survive anything. Forced to flee with the Sully family to the Metkayina reefs, Szàrae finds the ocean to be her greatest trial. Every misstep marks her as an outsider, drawing quiet scrutiny-especially from Neteyam Sully. As the eldest, Neteyam demands precision. His corrections are relentless, never cruel, never soft-because survival leaves no room for failure. Distance becomes impossible as discipline blurs into something neither of them is prepared to face. Because the ocean does not forgive weakness- and falling for the one who challenges you most may be the most dangerous mistake of all. 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫! ૮ • ﻌ - ა

Za'nara: "I'm sorry I'm not the same girl you knew ten years ago." Za'nara was very close to the Sully family when she was younger, especially the kids. One day ten years ago, Za'nara disappeared without a trace. Nobody heard from her or could ever find her. What happens when ten years later she shows back up in the Sully's life? Is she an enemy or still the girl the sully kids loved so deeply when they were children? I do not own any of the script I used from the movies only my character Za'nara I created myself and the chapters I made from scratch. Characters are aged up in this story e.g. Neteyam 17, Lo'ak 16, Za'nara 16 turning 17, Tuk 10.

The aftermath of Neteyam's death hadn't been easy for anyone, least of all Lo'ak. He drowned in the guilt of believing that his brother had been killed because of his own stupidity. And his father didn't help either. Lo'ak understood that Jake was grieving in his own way, but when he needed his father the most, Jake turned his back on his youngest son. Still, Lo'ak was desperate to do anything to win over his father's approval. But when Jake finally came out and blamed Lo'ak for Neteyam's death, Lo'ak found himself in the darkest place he had ever seen of his mind. ------- Ja'lia watched in agony as her best friend struggled over the death of Neteyam. Her once playful and adventurous friend had become quiet and withdrawn. His smiles felt forced, and the light in his eyes had dimmed, but this wouldn't deter Ja'lia. If anything, it encouraged her to try harder. She would help Lo'ak to see how important he is. That Neteyam's death wasn't his fault. That despite Jake's words, Lo'ak deserved to be happy and didn't need to prove himself to anyone. Follow along on the continuance of Lo'ak and Ja'lia's story. Please stop at Chapter 34 of Shooting Stars! The ending was originally written just in case I wouldn't be able to write this sequel. Started: 01/10/2026 Ended: Word Count: **This is the sequel to Shooting Stars | Lo'ak. Please read that first in order to understand my OC's character.** ***I aged all of the characters up by two years. There will be no SMUT in this book, but there will probably be a few kiss/make-out scenes. **Amazing cover made by @BENPD8!!
