Lea Helena Calderon thrives in a world where loyalty shifts like sand and every decision carries the weight of its consequence. As the chief strategist for the incumbent governor of their town, she's built her career on winning wars waged in campaign offices and fought in the court of public opinion. But when Rafael dela Vega steps into the race-a principled lawyer with no thirst for power but every intention to dismantle the system-Lea's carefully controlled world begins to crack. His sudden rise threatens not just her candidate's future but the delicate balance she's fought to maintain. Now, they stand on opposing sides of a brutal political battle, where every move is calculated, every word a weapon. As whispers of buried truths and unspoken secrets loom, Lea must play her most dangerous game yet-one where losing could cost her everything. In this high-stakes clash of ambition and ideals, will she go down alone, or will they rise up together to burn it all down?

It gets harder when the past refuses to stay quiet. Because how do you love someone fully when both of you are carrying secrets heavy enough to change everything you think you know? When trust feels like a risk instead of a promise? When every truth revealed could be the beginning or an ending?

That time, as he fell down from his seat and balled his fist, standing up like a total naive, Lea laughed. After what she thinks is forever, the lady finally let her curtains down and uncaged the spirit of fun from her heart. His face was familiarly-unfamiliar, but he gave her the feeling of tranquility.
