What if, society had a hand in destroying a promising child's future, all to prop up a lie? What happens when the child is denied all aspects of life, until he eventually cracks and decides to end it all? And the only one who extended a hand to him, wasn't a hero, but a man who is broken, like him Would he regret this path? No. Would he ensure society is due their reckoning? Oh, yes...

I wanted to give the whole twins and shitty All Might and Inko concept a try. I also really wanted to throw my hand in and try out an RPG "quirk" like the Solo Levelling X MHA fanfic out there. I am not sure how hard I'll be leaning into Solo Levelling for the events or inspiration since I tend to tell my own stories following other possibilities using the MHA world and characters, as you'd be able to tell if you've read any of my other works. Speaking of other works, I recommend reading Snowfall and Rabbit Ears if you want context on what's happening. And Rabbit, Rabbit, chimaera... insomniac? ... what? After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.
