The elevator opened probably at my stop and closed again. I could feel her smirking against my cheek, "Wait, did you not tell your friends how you begged me to fuck you?" she asked, chuckling a bit. "No," I said way too fast. "Wait, I meant I didn't say anything because nothing happened, we're going to forget about it," I said, forcing my eyes open and pushing the warmth away. "And if I don't want to forget it?" she asked, moving down to my ear. I gasped as she kissed right below it. "You have to. We..." I trailed off, my head falling back against the wall on its own, "We can't." "Why can't we?" she asked. "We want the same things, whether you're willing to admit it or not," she whispered, then kissing the spot again. "There is nothing to admit. I got over you," I said, repeating what I said last night, even as my body said something completely different. She let me go, stepping back. "Look me in the eye and tell me you're not turned on," she said, looking at me dead in the eyes. We both know I was, but I was definitely not going to say it. "I'm not," I sighed, trying and failing to sound convincing. "You're excuse for last night is that you were drunk. What's your excuse this time?" she asked, that annoying smirk coming back. ---------------------- Emryn and Avani have been best friends since they were kids. A tragic accident separated them, but what happens when Avani returns to work with the chief just to get to Emryn? Will they find themselves where they were six years ago? Will they be able to pick up their friendship as if nothing had happened? Stick around to find out!! ;) Not a slow burn!!! :)

It had been four years since Rebecca left after she graduated and asked Malina to wait for her. Did she? (Please excuse the grammar errors. I will edit when complete.) If you have not read (You're Ours), please at least read ch. 19-24. It will give you an assumption of Malina and Rebecca. This book is technically a sequel.

Book 2 of In The Margins Series! Claire Whitman doesn't do attachments. She doesn't stay, doesn't fall, doesn't let anyone matter long enough to leave a mark. Until one night - six years ago - when she did. It was supposed to be nothing. A mistake, something easy to forget. Except she never did. Because no matter how many people came after, no one ever felt like her. ❁ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ˋˏ༻❁༺ˎˊ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ❁ Mae Rivera has spent years pretending that night never happened. She built the life she was supposed to want - her art, her boyfriend, her carefully controlled world where everything makes sense and nothing crosses the line. Because what happened with Claire did. It crossed every line Mae was raised to never even look at. And worse... it felt right. ❁ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ˋˏ༻❁༺ˎˊ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ❁ Now Claire's back, and six years of denial begins to crack. Because no matter how hard Mae tries to bury it, her body remembers. The way Claire touched her. The way she wanted her. The way she still does. But some things aren't just complicated - they're dangerous. Because wanting Claire doesn't just mean risking her relationship, or her reputation. It means unraveling everything Mae thought she knew about herself. And Claire? Claire has nothing left to lose, except the one person she's never been able to forget. Some mistakes are meant to be buried. Others are the kind that ruin you... or set you free.

Katie was kidnapped and sold at 16. She was rescued at 17 after over a year of abuse that involved her and a group of other girls being used and kept strung out on drugs by their captors. It took almost four years for her to recover both physically and mentally, but now Katie is ready to venture out and reenter the world. But she has a secret. When all of the girls were rescued, the group that did so made sure to hunt down and eliminate everyone that had sold them to the human traffickers. Everyone gave the names of those they knew to the vigilantes that took care of them, but not Katie. She just told everyone that she didn't know who had done it. But in reality, she knew very well who had ruined her life, and she was going to go pay that bitch a visit. Trigger Warning - Past mentions of SA and murder Note: This book is a spin off of the Dreams I'll Never See books (Including Flirtin' with Disaster), as well as from Whiskey and Rye. | teacher x student | wxw | slow burn | When 19-year-old Lena James enters English Literature class, she expects nothing special. Instead, she meets Ms. Sinclair her cold, sharp-tongued British literature teacher. Elegant, cutting, and unbearably superior. From the very first lesson, the 34-year-old woman seems to take pleasure in dismantling Lena's every opinion with cruel precision. Lena hates her. She hates the condescending red marks on her essays, the raised eyebrow that makes her feel small, and the way Ms. Sinclair lingers in her thoughts long after class ends. But hate this intense has a way of twisting into something far more dangerous. With a strict 15-year age gap and an unbreakable teacher-student boundary, their slow-burning tension threatens to break every rule both in literature and in real life. Some lessons aren't taught kindly. And some hatreds taste too much like desire. "Ms. Sinclair's Secret"

CECILY I would like to say that I was off the hook this summer and could finally relax. But that doesn't seem to be the cast.Because I had a summer internship with the Vale Ravens as an intern. And you know who else was a intern?Lillian Valentine. I had a job to do.simp to say the least. Make sure Freya Alexander stays away from Lillian. Easy enough right? Wrong. Because for the longest time me and Lillian our forced in the same arena doing the same task together. Those feelings that I tried to push down just keep emerging. And the worse part? Lillian was feeling it too. :::::::::::::::: LILLIAN . If someone had told me a year ago that I'd be working under the Vale Ravens' summer program, I would've laughed in their face. If they'd told me I'd be paired with Cecily Whittaker every other shift, I would've called it sabotage. And if they'd told me I'd start noticing the way she bites her lip when she's concentrating-like it's the only thing keeping her from saying something she can't take back-I would've assumed they were insane. But here I am. Trying to act normal. Trying not to look at her too long. Because Cecily doesn't just watch me. She tracks me. Like I'm an anomaly she can't categorize, an error she's been assigned to correct but hasn't decided how to handle yet. Because Cecily has rules. I've seen them. I've watched her enforce them on everyone else like they're iron-clad. But why does it feel like she is softer with me?

She spilled coffee on a stranger. She didn't know she was falling into her orbit. Ivy Moore is twenty-two, restless, and quietly unraveling beneath the weight of expectations she never chose. The daughter of a respected doctor, she has everything she needs-on paper. But between university lectures and long shifts at a campus café she doesn't need but insists on keeping, Ivy feels adrift. Until one wrong step lands her in the path of Celeste Deloera. Elegant. Untouchable. Dangerous in stillness. Celeste is not just Ivy's literature professor-she's also the editor-in-chief of the world's most exclusive fashion and culture magazine. Cold and precise, Celeste rules every room she enters. So when Ivy unknowingly applies for a job as her personal assistant, she finds herself pulled into Celeste's tightly controlled world of power, beauty, and brutal expectations. But working beside Celeste is nothing like Ivy imagined. It's long nights, sharp silences, stolen glances, and unspoken rules. And the longer Ivy stays, the more the lines blur-between obedience and desire, between curiosity and obsession, between what's allowed and what's already begun. Now, Ivy lives in two realities: one where she's the quiet student at the back of the classroom... and another where she walks two steps behind Celeste through velvet-curtained galas and midnight boardrooms. Close enough to feel her. Never close enough to know her. What begins as admiration becomes fascination. Fascination becomes obsession. And obsession, Ivy learns, always has a cost. In a world ruled by secrets, silence, and stares held a second too long, love is not gentle. It stares you down. And dares you to follow.
