(Teacherxstudent) It might have been the way her hand moved effortlessly across the canvas with every stroke she made, or the way her eyes would shine when speaking about her passion that she adored so much, or maybe it was her smile that seemed to captivate me every time. She was perfect in her own way, and I wish I could tell her how much happiness she brings into my life by being present. How all my worries and fears seem to drown away when she's near, or how a simple "hello" makes my day. The only thing stopping me from getting close to her is that diamond ring on her left hand, and how terrible of a person I feel every time I think about her in ways I'm not suppose to, and the fact that I couldn't bring her into my fucked up life. Oh, and because she's my art teacher. Mrs. Shuler, if only you knew how much I adore you.

Charlotte Black was completely and utterly perfect. She was captain of the softball team, popular, a 4.0 student, and drop dead gorgeous. Most of all, she was straight. Lemon Hatfield was not. She was introverted, unpopular, gay, and lacked one athletic bone in her body. For Lemon, Charlotte was unattainable, the girl everyone was crushing on but nobody could get. Everything changes when Lemon spots Charlotte working at a McDonald's an hour away from their school. This makes Lemon question everything she thought she knew about Charlotte and her seemingly perfect life. As she discovers more and more about Charlotte's struggle, Lemon learns to never judge a book by its cover, and that things aren't always as they seem.

Willow Fields has always hated her sexuality. With growing up in a devout Christian home, she is conflicted on what is right and wrong. Just as she starts to embrace herself, her parents find out and send her to a boarding school on the other side of the country. Adelaide Park is her teacher. Who helps her overcome her self hate and learning to accept herself. ***This book will end in the middle of the school year. This is a story that I love so much, but want to make many changes to and I didn't want to continue a story that was going to change anyways. This book just got to a point that I didn't intend and I didn't know what story it was anymore.*** SEVERELY UNEDITED

Taylor Monroe always kept to herself. She genuinely enjoyed spending her weekends and weekdays alone, losing herself in the bundle of notebooks she'd spend hours filling with beautiful poems and thoughts no one else would understand but her. Sometimes, if she was feeling a little inspired, she'd sketch. Other times, she'd take photos on her film cam. But there was always one subject. Romee Carey. The girl that makes everyone's heads turn wherever she goes. The one of the golden hair and dazzling smile. The reason for Taylor's erratic heartbeats ever since Science class ten years ago. Not that Romee remembers. Or even bothers to acknowledge her existence. A/N: this is my first book some parts are kinda cringey im sorry but you're welcome to take a leap of faith
