“It happened again. I had a dream that I was dying.”
Ty Kipling lives such a fast life that he hardly understands what’s going on around him. All he thinks about is riding his bike and hanging out with his best friend until the day he overdoses on drugs. Being revived from death is too much for him to wrap his head around, and his world quickly falls apart.
“I used to be the person that people came to for advice. What happened?”
As someone who has a perfectionist soul, Luka Jade can’t cope with her newly imperfect past. Burying her nose in books and getting high from time to time have become her comfort zone, and she finds herself slipping further away from the girl she used to be. Will spending time with her new step-brother, Ty, and friends be a good or bad thing?
Told from the alternating perspectives of Luka and Ty, Toska tells the story of two step-siblings who struggle to find meaning in their secrets and tribulations.
WARNING: This story contains graphic content (sex, drug usage, language, and violence).

As you read, keep in mind that this is the first draft. It's more about getting it down and less about getting it right. Because I've been working on this for a few months, you readers' fresh perspectives have been really helpful in making things flow smoothly and make more sense (while cutting out the boring pieces), and I hope that you continue to give me helpful feedback. Thanks for reading!
P.S. It's been three months since I last updated, but I promise that this novel hasn't been abandoned. I know exactly where it's going and do at least a minute of work on it every day. I'm looking forward to posting chapter XIII soon!
