He goes to an orphanage, where he made a friend name Percy, who is only five years old. Percy's sure to be adopted soon, and Nico will miss him when he is. Unfortunately, also at the orphanage is Octavian the homophobe. When Will moves into Nico's town, what will happen? Will they even remember that they used to be best friends? Read to find out.

Nico is a thief, and Will is a prince, and they are very doomed. Really, it probably started when Nico robbed the king. Or maybe when he winked at the prince from across the marketplace. Or maybe when he orchestrated thrilling castle escapes, humiliating the royal family and guard without so much as breaking a sweat. Color. It's something our brain makes up. It doesn't really exist. So how come everyone made a big fuss about meeting and touching their soulmate so they could see in color? After all, what's so bad about black and white? Aren't they colors too? That's what Nico thought anyway. When he was younger he had tried to imagine a new color but had never been able to. His sister had died seeing the world in black in white. Nico didn't see the point of color. That is, until he touches his soulmate and sees what he's been missing out on... Edited January 2024.
