"Keep the best memories of the past, but please don't let the darkest ones consume you. It hurts, but I know you're strong, Heichou." Eren cooed. Levi couldn't even think straight whether or not to continue this. It was his choice. If he chooses not to take this any longer, well, there's no coming back. To see someone die in front of your two eyes would torture you with shock, but seeing the one you loved the most die in front of your two eyes is a lifetime of anger, sadness and depression. "Don't leave me alone, please."

After the war, the world among the walls is seemingly peaceful, only the victory is credited to the Military Police and not the Survey Corps, who actually went out and finished off the Titans. Eren is especially angry about it, and when Levi tells him otherwise, he simply has to accept it. To Levi, Eren is important, and he desperately wishes to uphold his promise to keep Eren out of the Military Police's hands, but can he do that when a sudden war meeting is called? A meeting will decide the fate of the two, and also Eren's life.

Eren was born into Levi's hatred, and when the raven-haired man wasn't able to kidnap him as a child, he was forced to watch him grow. Now, on the battlefield, they face off. Their hatred for each other growing at the second. But when an attack goes haywire, the two find themselves unable to free themselves before both sides of the battle give up due to their losses. Having to survive with each other makes them realize they aren't so different from one another. Will they find their ways back home?
