BOOK ONE of The Breath of Aethriel Princess Serétha has spent her life being polished, paraded, and prepared to become a political sacrifice - a sacred "union" meant to bind kingdoms under the gods' gaze. But on the eve of her fate being sealed, Serétha runs. The wilds beyond the palace are not freedom - they are hunger, cruelty, and the kind of darkness stories never warn you about. And Serétha isn't just being hunted by men who believe they own her... she's being pulled toward something she doesn't understand - something old, forbidden, and waking inside her blood. A thief with too much charm. A prince with a devotion sharp enough to cut. A world ruled by gods who do not forgive. Serétha wanted a choice. Now she has one - and it might burn Aethriel to the bone.

Enid Rose Ferron had one goal in her mind when she enrolled herself into undergraduate vivmancy programme at Alchemy Institute - clear her fathers name and show the truth of her mother's role during the Second Necromancy War. But wearing fake surname and trying to keep distance from her best friend, Apollo Holdfast, doesn't seem enough as one of the top students notices her similarities to Helene Marino and starts placing the dots. Keeping her facades never felt heavier, as she tries to balance it all, wondering if some things are simply meant to fall apart. Written for ONC 2026 on prompt: 24. Staying as friends feels safe, but that doesn't mean it's the path you're meant to take. Story is written as a fanfiction on "Alchemised" by SenLinYu, planned as sequel on Enid Ferron and Apollo Holdfast, placed just after epilogue. I hope some day we get a real second book following those characters, but in the mean time feel free to make any suggestions how to make it feel more compelling.

In a world where duty and love collide, Nia, the eldest daughter of an aristocratic family, finds herself thrust into a political alliance with the ruthless Vampire King, Kiyoshi. As both kingdoms grapple with the mysterious disappearance of human and vampire children, Nia and Kiyoshi embark on a journey to uncover the truth. Amidst the chaos and danger, a forbidden romance blossoms between Nia and Kiyoshi. Bound by duty, they navigate the treacherous path of their arranged marriage, while their hearts yearn for something more. Together, they must unravel the dark secrets that haunt their kingdoms and find a way to bring peace and justice to their people. "You may kiss the bride," proclaimed the officiant. Nia froze, panicked. She had never been kissed before! Sensing her unease, King Kiyoshi gently tilted her chin upward. His eyes were cold and yet she found herself trusting him despite her misgivings. His lips brushed against hers, soft and tentative at first, then with growing confidence. His kiss was not demanding or forceful, but rather a tender exploration of her mouth. It sent a shiver through her body, making her heart race and her cheeks flush with heat. As they turned to face their kingdoms, cheers erupted, both within the hall and from the masses gathered outside. Though nervous for what was to come, Nia could not help but feel a sense of elation. She was the Queen of Ivamis, and her husband was the most powerful king in the land. The weight of their responsibilities was not lost on her, but she also knew that they would face these challenges together...hopefully.
