Stan feels like his relationship isn't working and like he can't talk to his friends about it anymore. He doesn't know how to feel about his current love life, and a lot is changing for him. Kyle feels like he's loosing everyone and everything. And him developing feelings for a close best friend of his, isn't helping him. Kenny feels like nobody trusts him or wants to open up to him. He also feels annoyed at Kyle for being so overprotective and overbearing with Stan, making it harder for him open up.

Eddie got a job at the same Family Video Steve and Robin work at. Steve isn't so excited about it. Even though they went to the upsidedown and back, Steve doesn't really care to really get to know him. Eddie Kaspbrak and Richie Tozier are best friends, though everyone knows they have something special. Eddie tries to ignore his feelings for Richie, he tells himself that he doesn't like his tall tough best friend, but feelings don't just go away. When Richie starts drifting off and starts hanging out less with his friends, Eddie suspects something is going on. There's trouble at home for Richie, he hasn't told anyone what happens though, not even Eddie. Eddie tries to figure out why his best friend is acting up, in the process of doing so, he learns that Richie isn't as tough as he seems. Everyone has a weak spot. Everyone breaks at some point.
