Esme Rose has been dancing at Abby's since she was two years old. She has became one of Abby's star dancers over the years. Always in the front and centre, and always getting the most attention. At only 7 years old, she has became Abby's favourite. Her mom Josie Rose, has always been a close friend to Abby, actually used to be one of Abby's students herself. But she had to quit dance because her parents didn't have the money for it. So now she has the money for her kid to do it, as soon as Esme could walk, she put her into dance class for Abby, hoping to make her a star.

In this last and final chapter of their story, Rosalee, Thomas and Newt along with the other Gladers must break into the deadliest maze of all: The Last City, controlled by W.I.C.K.E.D. to save their friends. Such as finding out why they were placed in the Maze in the first place, or confronting the person who betrayed them. Most of all, having to choose who to save and who to trust in the end.
