The world is cruel; Neteyam struggles to ignore his burning love for the one person he firmly believes he can never have. It eats at him, always a thought present in the back if his mind, lingering, tearing into his soul and leaving him restless and full of longing. He yearns for Ao'nung's love, and seeks out others in his attempt to fill the void in his chest, though it hardly works. He's in pain; he feels unloved, unlovable - every day since coming to Awa'atlu, he's been nothing but a disappointment. Neteyam is scared of his father, of the repercussions that follow his misdeeds, however little they may be. He bottles it up, until he cannot keep himself composed anymore. And what then? Who will be the one to pick up the broken pieces of his soul?

Ao'nung, Tsireya and Rotxo went to the forest to learn their ways as a sigh of peace, what could go wrong?

Neteyam was undeniably angry. He felt betrayed and lost. It felt like the world was against him, his father, his mother, and his home. Everything he ever knew was ripped away from him, and it left a gaping wound in his heart. He was certain nobody knew how fragile he was inside. He felt like he was suffocating; his throat tight, the back of his eyes burning. He knew not to release those feelings.

"Neteyam navigates through his healing, both physical and mental, after the attack. Along the way, he realizes how much he appreciates the eldest son of the Metkayina clan. Aonung matures quickly after the attack. He realizes who he is, where he wants to go and what he wants to do with his future. Along the way, the Sully's eldest son plays an important role in his decisions." There is no death, no pain, no suffering in any of my writings. They are really like a diary through the lives of the characters I like. There may be some adult scenes but it is not the main theme.

Aonung is a senior in college. Everyone knows him for his 'careless attitude.' Neteyam is also a senior, but he has a kind personality. The pair have been friends for a while now, but they find the urge to experiment.

A couple of tiny glowing fish came over to him, inspecting him. Neteyam watched them, unmoving. His stillness encouraged the little creatures to inch closer, one coming to rest against his nose. Neteyam realized they were the seeds of Eywa - only here, they did not float. Neteyam smiled softly, extending one of his arms, palm facing up. One of the seeds swam into his hand, resting comfortably. Ao'nung slowly sank down to his knees as well, brows furrowed in an unpleasant glare before bubbles escaped his lips in surprise at the sight in front of him. Neteyam glanced his way for a mere second before turning back to Eywa's little creations, watching as they circled his waist before finally swimming away.

War reaches Awa'atlu. Ao'nung is promised off to Neteyam, Toruk Makto's first born son as a means to strengthen the connections between the tribes of the Metcayina and the Omaticaya. Ao'nung is not thrilled to be married off so soon, and by the looks of things, neither is Neteyam. ABO Dynamics
