The carnival appears only once a year-no advertisements, no signs, and no one knows when it will vanish again. But this year, it appeared right at the edge of Ariana's village, as if it had come just for her.
Ariana only wanted to see the colorful lights and hear the cheerful music, yet the moment she stepped inside, something felt... off.
The rides seemed ordinary, but they felt like they were watching her.
People laughed, yet the sound felt distant, almost unreal.
With every step she took, the carnival paths seemed to shift on their own.
Amid the confusion, Ariana discovers a quiet alley lined with paper lanterns.
The alley shouldn't exist... yet it seemed to pull her in.
At the end, an old booth stands with a sign:
"One question can change your fate."
Without thinking, Ariana enters.
Inside, she confronts someone who knows things about her... things she's never dared to admit.
From that night onward, Ariana realizes:
This carnival isn't just a place for fun.
It's a place that tests, chooses, and demands.
And if she doesn't answer the right question...
the carnival will take something from her.
Something that may never be returned.
