Things are finally calm in the chaotic Merged Realms, giving the Ninja a well deserved rest. Which is too boring for Wyldfyre, so she decides it's time for a party. Arin is as always excited, especially now that his former-but-still-kind-of best friend Frak can be included. For once, they will be able enjoy each others company, ever since meeting up again after The Merge. But lots of things have changed, and the longer the night goes on, the more Arin discovers that he's maybe not just looking to continue his old friendship. But whether he has the courage to act on those feelings before the party ends, that will be up to him.

While trying to find someone to fix it again, he is visited by a strange entity that grants him great power and promises more, so long as he gets the other Ninja to join him. Unfortunately for the entity, the Ninja, with their new powers, won't take kindly to being puppeted. Meanwhile, someone the Ninja assumed is dead searches the Spirit Plane for an ancient artifact that was once hidden in the Monastery that will allow him to return to the Mortal Plane. He is aided by the New Ninja, who manage to avoid Kai's corruption.
