A day by day account of my 2014 Nanowrimo journey. NaNoWriMo for those of you who don't know is a challenge to write 50,000 words in a month. That month is November, and for over ten years writers have been gathering together to attempt this feat. I first heard of NaNoWriMo in 2013, I managed to complete the challenge that year and the draft I wrote will form part of the second Portal Wars book. More importantly the challenge kickstarted my writing, showing me what was achievable if I applied myself to the challenge. This year I will be drafting my new book Cleansing River, and hope to share a slightly edited version as I progress through the month. I am aiming to complete the entire story this time round but will be happy with writing 20,000 words if life gets very busy. After all its the taking part that counts not the winning. For more information about NaNoWriMo have a look on their website. http://nanowrimo.org/ Have a look at Cleansing River. http://www.wattpad.com/story/18663484-cleansing-river-nanowrimo-%2714
