They stand, tall and patient, piled high at one end of the desk. Adora adjusts her dress to a more comfortable position before wiggling in her chair. She supposes she's going to be here for a while. After all, there's a lot to think about... Where to begin? She ponders. At the beginning, she decides. Well, the beginning after the end - the first morning of peace. And after that? An adventure beyond anything she could have imagined. From the long-lost depths to the magical skies of Etheria. With the Horde truly gone, the rebuilding is all but complete. But that wasn't the case back then. Adora smiles at the thought of Catra; she was there that morning, quite unexpectedly. That was before they knew about her magic, before she learnt to control it. Adora takes a final deep breath, truly considering everything they've been through in the last six months since the Heart, since the Resurgence. All their highs and lows, good times and bad. It's all important, and she'll write it all down. With that thought in mind, she reaches for the first of the blank books and, after opening it to the first page, begins to write... Today was the day. Adora was getting married to her fiancée and Catra was beyond miserable.

Adora Gray is a Fresh Firefighter in Bright Moon City. On her first Day, her superiors trows her into the deep end as the Newbie. In the flaming Inferno she finds a Magicat and old friend, who can only say one thing before passing out "My...Kid is still in there" Most of this will be from Adoras perspective and it will be labled Mature for a reason so be aware This is a short story (5 -10 Ch max) that sprung into my Head wile i was in Hospital. Catarina "Catra" Ortego was a "half" in every meaning of the word. Half Cat, half Latina and, if you were to ask most Teachers, half a Student. Having long given up on experiencing a "normal" High School Life and after being told that she would be expelled if she'd screw up her Mid terms, she made a Deal with Adora Gray, closted Lesbian and newest victim of the troublemaker named Catra...or was it the other way around without her knowledge? This will be writen from a Narrator POV and is more or less to see if I can do that. Adora called out across the ice, feeling as if she was floating on air. It was a strange sense of euphoria, the wind biting her skin and the vast sea of stars above her. It almost felt surreal. What made it even more unbelievable was the girl in front of her, chuckling as she watched Adora trip over herself slightly as she realized the weight of this experience. -------- A socially isolated girl leaves the comfort of an abusive mother to meet a world of richness, both metaphorically and literally. Though Adora is undoubtedly intelligent, her confinement in Shadow Weaver's home prevents her from fulfilling her 'lifelong pursuit.' After eleven years of carefully monitored studies, Adora leaves to attend the Brightmoon Institution, an academy founded to educate the brightest minds. There she makes friends....as well as enemies. Cue Catra. A forgotten ally from a forgotten place, a reawakened memory in Adora's mind. At the Age of 8, Princess Adora of Greenvale had surpassed most, if not all, of her peers in Wealth, Intelligence, Influence and Vision but a Chance encounter, with a hybrid Slave, at the Market leads her to discover that she still had a lot to learn about herself and matters of the Heart.
