Ignorance is bliss. I've heard that phrase continually throughout my life and always thought the exact opposite. I wanted to know as much as I could. When you know what you're dealing with it makes fighting your battles much easier than declaring war on an unknown enemy. What I wasn't prepared for was the burden knowledge comes with. It was easier not knowing, but how can you deny something and its absolute being when it's a part of you, growing inside you, blossoming and fruiting drilling roots so deep into your soul it's now who you are? You can't and it makes its existence prominent in every aspect of your life changing everything around you. What is it? It is a powerful thing, and at such a young and tender age did I never think I would find it and that too already there in my life. It is love. Daunting isn't it? To love, not knowing what will come of the most feared and most glorified four-letter word known to humankind.
