❝IN MY HEAD YOU'RE IN THE CAR AND YOU'RE COMING
TO ME AND YOU GET TO MY DOOR AND YOU CANT
EVEN SPEAK BUT I THINK THATS ITS SWEET
YEAH I THINK THAT YOU'RE SWEET ❞
The thing about growing up in Hollywood was that everyone knew of everyone.
You just didn't always know each other.
Clara Hayes and Walker Scobell were a perfect example of that.
To Clara, he was just her brothers , Oliver annoying best friend - the loud one who showed up at her house sometimes, laughing too hard at something Oliver said, stealing snacks from the kitchen like he lived there.
To Walker, she was Oliver's little sister - the quiet one who was always either leaving for ballet, buried in scripts, or coming home late from sets with tired eyes and a polite smile that never really stayed long enough to turn into a conversation.
They had crossed paths for years without ever really meeting.
Not properly. Not in a way that mattered.
Clara was always somewhere else - ballet rehearsals that stretched late into the night, filming projects in different cities, award shows she barely remembered half of, or hidden away with headphones on, trying to exist in her own world between schedules.
Walker stayed in a different orbit entirely - usually with Oliver, sometimes with Mason and the Percy Jackson group, always surrounded by noise, jokes, and movement.
He never really stood still long enough to end up in the same quiet spaces Clara occupied.
