I felt happiness when I was with them. I lost all hope when I left. I relied on my cold, sinful, and emotionless heart for support. I had no one else to turn to but the one I didn't trust the most: myself. I told myself it was better to be feared than hated. So I listened. The more that quote rung into my mind, I began to be more heartless. More... crazy. That harpoon struck into one of my greatest inventions snapped me back into reality. Oh, the cold, harsh reality I that strived to run away from. I betrayed my friends. I murdered a man. I destroyed a house filled with memories. All because I wanted to be feared. The amount of pain I felt physically as I fell to the ground didn't amount to the pain that scarred me from the inside. The physical pain felt so numb. All I could feel was that feeling of pain that I caused them. That nagging feeling that I needed to repay for my sins. That shot to the giant robot restarted my feelings; the feeling of pain. It hurt so much. I didn't know how to make it stop. So I tried to do some good in the world for once. I remade my army into a force of good. I just never expected it to lead it to the three people I prayed I would never see again. ... I had to put on a porcelain face so they can go. ____________ Yay, there's angst in this story. When Tom is severely depressed, Tord deals with his problems carelessly. He opts to go out for a night with friends, leaving Tom by himself. What would happen if he ignored him for the night?

And being the leader of an army was not helping in any way. He was sad after what happened. He missed their friendship and felt guilty about his death. But he could not do anything to bring him back. Edd and Matt have tried to help but he refuses to let them help him. What happens when one unfortunate event makes them cross paths once again. Will forgiveness win and bring them closer again, or will death strike down on the one who says sorry? (This is the Forgiveness story, it is one out of three books in a small series I've made. There's "the Revenge story", "the Forgiveness story", and "the Family story". They all have similar beginnings, but different endings. And they all take place a few weeks after the events of "The End".)
