This is a short story of Finn And Autumn from "If he had been with me" and how she dealt with her grief after his passing and birthing their child. The original story by author - Laura Nowlin. I absolutely adored the book and decided I had to make some type of short story regarding it! This story is not entirely mines as I used knowledge from the first book, in no way am I trying to steal anything nor plan to make any money.

A retelling of Laura Nowlins' best-selling books "If he had been with me" and "if only I had told her" August 8th will forever be embedded into my mind as the saddest day in my bookish life. Laura Nowlin may not be able to bring Finny back but I sure as fuck can. Autumn had a dream. She had begged him to stay and he didn't. Because of that, she would never get to hold on to what she left slip through her fingers so many times. She's not going to let that happen again. Dreamworld or not Autumn and Finny weren't giving up on what they had created and it turns out it was a lot more than the two had originally thought. With new challenges finny and Autumn fight for something they know is meant to be. But now that they've found each other it seems that a greater being is eager to keep them apart. Can the young couple fight against it or is god really against them?
