WATTPAD ORIGINAL EDITION When her initiation into her college's History Club goes awry, Sol has to come face to face with Ethan-the cute guy whose house she just broke into. ***** Soledad Gutierrez, or Sol to her friends, decides to join the History Club at her Community college. However, this club is not like other clubs: they have an initiation process and a slew of other 'extracurricular activities.' In order to join the club, Sol must break into the oldest house in her small Californian town and steal one of their forks. The club members provide all the materials to break in; she just needs to take the utensil, take a selfie in the kitchen, and get out undetected-with the fork, of course. The problem is: Ethan Winston spots Sol in his grandparent's house, and he's determined to uncover the reason behind the break-in. However, both he and Sol are thrown for a loop when feelings begin to develop between them. And as Ethan becomes suspicious of the History Club, he and Sol get tangled in an adventure none of them were expecting. A pack of thieves ransack a witch's home, stealing her deck of tarot cards. Unbeknownst to them, these tarot cards hold the most infamous criminals ever known. And little do they know what they've unleashed onto the world when these prisoners escape their binds to the cards and scatter across the stars. It'll take a powerful kind of magic and a special kind of witch to find them. Cage is NOT that witch. In fact, she's not exactly a witch at all. She's a Lavender and lives in a world where women are the only ones with magic. With flowers that grow in amongst her curly hair, Cage is dragged into the hunt for the prisoners and must travel across the cosmos with a band of unlikely heroes. A witch of the winds and another of the stars. A boy who has magic when he shouldn't and another with the sun in his blood. Cage learns that the lines between heroes and villains can blur on their journey to stopping something far more evil than any of them could have ever imagined.

"Great power comes with great..." I raised my eyebrows at Guardian, looking his skin-tight suit up and down. "Urges to wear spandex, apparently." "Are you using altered famous superhero comic book references to insult me?" he asked incredulously. I snorted. "You bet your fucking ass, I am." *** Crown City has all the typical big-city flare. There's a McDonald's on every corner, enough carbon emissions to end life as we know it, and a new supervillain trying to take over right before finals week. For Tessa Kingston, Supers are nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, Tessa likes to pretend that Supers don't even exist at all. Though Tessa isn't exactly shy with her not-so-popular thoughts on Crown City's resident vigilante, Guardian, he seems to have taken a liking to the annoyed teenager. Well, he and his buddies have, that is - buddies meaning two supervillains dressed in Walmart Star Wars masks. Crown City has always been a center for mayhem and superpowers, but when strange things start happening too often to be coincidences, Tessa finds herself in the middle of a fight she didn't start but she sure as hell was going to end. Villains torment her. Heroes try to save her. Tessa just wants to pass Supers 101. In a world full of Supers, it's up to normal-teenager Tessa Kingston to save her city. A typical tagline she's well-aware of, of course. As Tessa prepares to show these Super-fools they messed with the wrong girl, she just has one condition: There's no way she's wearing spandex. *** BOOK #1 OF THE "SUPERHEROES SUCK" DUOLOGY Featured on the Wattpad Adventure, Action, Superhero, and Humour profiles! WARNING: Contains mild swearing, cliffhangers, plot twists, and enough sarcasm to last a lifetime.

"To get a guy to go away...tell him you're gay." Laina Carter's hair is surprisingly small, considering it's full of secrets. She's a self confessed serial fling-doer, incapable of doing relationships. And that's why when Griffin Davis walks into her life, charming, mischievous and a massive pain in the ass, demanding to date her, she does what any sane girl in her shoes would do to get him to walk away: She tells him she's gay. Obviously when you're not, it's a damn hard pretense to keep up, especially when Laina finds herself doing the impossible and actually falling for the guy who's slowly uncovering the past she's tried so hard to bury.
