Elle is a 18-year-old girl who lives in Glacier Falls, Washington. Her mother died before she turned one, and her father abuses her, saying she killed her mother. One day, her father tries to kill her, and she flees into the dense forest behind their house. Snow starts to fall, and she falls into hypothermia's clutches. She falls unconscious, and a mysterious figure takes her away. Elle finds herself in a large mansion, owned by a mysterious man, unknown to her.
