The story was inspired by my 100-year-old farm house you see in the background where neighbors still say it's haunted. The letters in my thriller are actual letters from the man who stalked me. It's been twenty years plus. He remains anonymous to this day.

#Watty2016 Any woman can be both the perfect housewife and an accomplished assassin, because both functions require the same qualities: creativity; a never-say-die attitude; and an attention to details, no matter how small... ***** All I really needed to know about being a freelance assassin I learned before my youngest daughter, Trisha, started kindergarten. I've come to that realization as I lay naked and handcuffed to the bed of my target du jour, a sleazebag by the name of Yuri Petrovich. Believe it or not, everything is going just as I planned, and right on schedule. At least, that is what I tell myself as I watch him unzip his rock star-tight leather pants and squeeze out of them as quickly as he can because of his erection, which seems to be growing by the nanosecond and has him wincing in pain. In Yuri's fantasy if anyone is going to say ouch, it's going to be me.... ***** YES. YOU WANT TO READ MORE. More murder. More suspense. More sex. And yes, more handy household tips. "Adorable is not usually the word that comes to mind with a title like The Housewife Assassin's Handbook, but it was just what I needed to pull me out of my reading doldrums. Donna works for the good guys, Acme Industries, undercover by taking down drug lords and terrorists with a matter-0f-fact attitude while worrying about making it to her carpooling duties. Granted, the book ended with a hook that made me want to immediately get the next one, which is always a smart move and I was excited to see that there are actually 11 books in the series (including a prequel). I now want a week at the beach to read them all. Live a little, add some spice to your life, give this little book a try and give yourself a reason to smile. I know I did and now I'm completely smitten." -- Barbara Vey, BarbaraVey.com "Secrets, sex, money and scandal...Josie Brown is a skilled observer whose clever dialogue makes for truly entertaining reading." --Jackie Collins www. This is one book club meeting that doesn't go by the book. When octogenarian sleuth Myrtle Clover discovers Naomi Pelter's dead body during a book club meeting, the other members seem shocked. But Myrtle can read between the lines. Naomi had riled everyone up by flirting with other people's husbands, arguing with neighbors, and generally making a nuisance of herself. Murdering troublemakers is the oldest trick in the book. The book club members seem too sweet to be killers, but Myrtle knows better than to judge books by their covers. Myrtle's investigation into the murder will take a more novel approach than her police chief son's by-the-book methods. Can Myrtle and her widower sidekick uncover the killer...before he writes them off for good? (This mystery will be uploaded on Wednesdays. If you can't wait for the next installment, the completed book can be found on Amazon: https://tinyurl.com/o6wn4sk ) . The series is also available on Amazon India: https://tinyurl.com/ohdbffq . Cosette Whitlow is a society matron...if tiny Bradley, North Carolina, has one. She kindly volunteers for all the town's charities, but isn't nearly as kind to her own family, neighbors, and friends. No one seems surprised when Cosette's body is discovered during a party she's hosting-she was struck on the head with a croquet mallet. Wanting to restore order to the small town, Myrtle resolves to track down the killer-before the killer strikes again.

It's just an ordinary day for octogenarian sleuth Myrtle Clover-until her yardman discovers a dead body planted in her backyard. This death isn't cut and dried-the victim was bashed in the head with one of Myrtle's garden gnomes. Myrtle's friend Miles recognizes the body and identifies him as Charles Clayborne... reluctantly admitting he's a cousin. Charles wasn't the sort of relative you bragged about-he was a garden variety sleaze, which is very likely why he ended up murdered. As Myrtle starts digging up dirt to nip the killings in the bud, someone's focused on scaring her off the case. Myrtle vows to find the murderer...before she's pushing up daisies, herself.
