(aka "Alone?") I adopted this fanfic from @CartoonsAreAmazing. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Varian has been groomed and abused by Saporian Andrew since their jailbreak. After Princess Rapunzel and company return from their journey, they must defeat the evil separatists in order to save Corona and Varian. Soon after his father is freed from the amber, the young boy is taken into the care of Rapunzel and Eugene. The couple have come to view Varian as their own. They're determined to be whatever Varian needs as he heals from Andrew's abusive influence. But nothing ever comes easy for the little alchemist. A secret enlightens the child to a spectacular destiny. And a creeping evil is approaching, threatening to shroud Corona in eternal darkness and its eyes are unfortunately pointed at Varian. What will become of the teenage boy? Is he doomed to be swallowed in pain and loneliness forever? Or will the light be his greatest salvation? This is a comic book of the Tangled spinoff AU "Varian and the Seven Kingdoms." This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!! "I trusted you" i say quitely Hugo looked at the ground "Im-" but before he could get a word out i grabbed the shard from around my neck, Hugo looks up "Varian dont!" Hugo yells worried, i ignore him and say raupnzels incantion before everything goes black...... this is about Varian and the seven kingdoms (if you want to know what that is look it up on google and then come back here) a disney show that never came to be i really love the cute ship(s) that would have happend in the show, i dont know what else to say, the story takes place a few years after the end of tangled the series the characters arent my creation i have some oc's that i will add, the character list in the first chapter, I hope you enjoy happy reading......byeeeeee (P.s not one of my best books) [I edited this book and changed names of people and places added and took away things so if you have read this before and something seems off thats probably it (2022-2024)] Book 2 coming soon!!!!

Honestly, Varian wasn't sure what to expect for his 18th birthday. Maybe a small celebration? Well, he did get one of those, but his dad also gave him a journal. Ulla. That's the person who wrote it. It's been two years since the defeat of Zhan Tiri. Varian spends peaceful life in Old Corona and occationally travelling to the capitol to see his friends and for his duties as a royal engineer. After everything that had happened Varian can't but feel little out of place and uncertain of who he should be. Then he gets an old journal from his father as a 18th year gift. Varian leaves Corona to find himself. He tries to find out what happened to his mother, who suddenly vanished in her research journey. Varian makes new friends and few enemies on his way to find the truth about his mother. Basically my version of Varian and the seven kingdoms and what I think could've happened.
