another story about Jay & Sunghoon. Trust me , there will be lots of fluff and love after quite few chapters of angst. Sunghoon is cold , merciless , intelligent & topper , scary and utterly handsome but from a lower middle class family and hates Jay like Jay ruined his something precious. He is kind and bare minimum soft with everyone except Jay, he always insult Jay for everything doesn't matter what Jay does. Jay isn't inteligent just an avarage student. He isn't Korean , he transferred from America so his korean is not good either. Jay is friendly but not extrovert. He scared to interact. He is from one of the most rich family and that's what Sunghoon hates most. Jay likes Sunghoon but too scared to tell Sunghoon. Jay and Sunghoon is both students in same school.

Ten years of friendship meant they knew everything about each other. Every habit. Every silence. Every version of one another. What they didn't expect was how natural it would feel to become something more. Like home had been waiting for them all along. ✦ _rankings 2 in #enhypenheeseung

Jay has loved Sunghoon since high school - quietly, painfully, and without ever being chosen. Sunghoon's heart has always belonged to someone else. Someone Jay never tried to compete with. That someone trusted Jay more than anyone else. When circumstances force Jay and Sunghoon into an unexpected marriage, Jay agrees without hesitation - not because he believes he will be loved, but because he made a promise he never wants to break. Sunghoon believes this marriage is Jay's choice - that Jay wanted this, that Jay took away what he loved most. To Sunghoon, everything feels like Jay's fault. But Jay knows the truth is far more complicated. He is only keeping a promise. A promise made out of love, not hope. A relationship built on silence. A slow-burning journey where hatred softens, wounds reopen, and feelings change in ways neither of them expected. Because sometimes, loving someone more means choosing them... even when it hurts.
