Noxus invades both Zaun and Piltover, so to try and save their children, families send their children to Ionia Academy, a school designed to prepare its students for battle and leadership. They spend the next year training for battle, watching the invasion on the news, and writing letters to their family so they can come back at the end of the program to help end the war. Vi Jinx and Ekko leave in a hurry to the program, and she tries to find some normalcy in them after being out of prison for only a few months. She runs into Caitlyn, who she thinks is a stuck-up Pilitie Princess with no concept of hard work or struggle. Caitlyn Mel and Jayce leave Piltover right as the invasion starts and try to find some solace in their new home. Caitlyn thinks Vis egotistical and rude and spends her tike trying to ignore her smart remarks. What happens when these two end up in competition and live in the same big compound?
