Like any other high school student, Kairi tries to find herself. She struggles with the death of her brother and her choice of study, but fortunately has a lot of support from her parents and cousin. When her group of friends suddenly find themselves in Borderland, Kairi faces betrayal and death in the games they must play to stay alive. She's determined to help other players and to find a way to survive together, but others are out to shake up that determination. Kairi will have to find a way between choosing for herself and helping others. That is not made easy for her. She will have to balance feelings of tension, distrust, betrayal, friendship and love. !
