"Deku," He murmured, thumbing over the pale skin covered in a sprinkle of light faded freckles, his breath becoming visible and ghosting against the other's cheek from the freezing cold. Red irises caught toxic green ones, his heart clenching- making it harder to breathe. God, he can't breathe- "What are we, Deku?" The close proximity had his chapped lips brush against the plush, light pink ones in a form of a chaste kiss. The question made the other teen's head hang low, green curls shadowing over his eyes as he let out a shaky breath, his arms trembling slightly as he hugged himself in a sense of lonely comfort. "I don't.. I don't know, Kacchan," he whispered back, careful around his words- but they were loud enough to shatter the glass barrier containing the truth. "I don't know."

Midoriya Izuku, a 14-year-old boy, has to learn how to navigate the world as a new father. It's more of a struggle then he thinks, especially with his former bully as his partner in the navigation. He doesn't know how to feel when he learns of his crush on the boy, especially now that he risks losing him due to hero training. Bakugou Katsuki could have just left him there, he knows, but something pushed past that and led to his former best friend sitting on the couch, explaining everything that happened to him. He doesn't know how to feel, especially when he learns that he's falling in love with the boy he'd previously bullied. He gets even more confused when he starts to love his daughter too, not knowing how he can handle being a partner, father, and hero in training all at once. **If you notice any errors please point them out! He'd began to distance himself from his past, reaching for something pure, positive and new to hold onto. He began to reach out until the hand that had been there all along grasped his. This is the story of how Katsuki Bakugou fell in love with Izuku Midoriya while running away from the shadows of his past, only to find out that learning to trust and to love again would help him mend the gashes in his heart he thought he'd closed off years ago. -- This story is more from Katsuki's point of view. A lot of stories are focused on Izuku, I can get why, I do it too. But this is for Bakugou. This is his one wish. Will he fulfill it? - (TW: Cutting, mentions of abuse and rape, the sexual assault mentions happen later on and it's never detailed and it's not between the ship itself, it's a character in katsukis past that will be introduced through flashbacks) This book focuses on relationships through the troubles of one's past and the toxicity of media. The style changed around chapters forty four and becomes more mature and refined and focused on the heartiness of emotions and descriptions since from there to whatever chapter you see before you now are my most recent (I started this book two years ago after all) Thank you @simpforhinataa on Wattpad for the title idea
