She had no other family so she was going to go into foster care. Astrid hated the idea so she took a bag and ran. She had been running ever since. When she was 15 she found a small group but things went sour and by 18 she was on her own again. when Astrid was nineteen she tried to pickpocket this guy she saw in the street. He was a few inches taller than her, had black hair, and wore a black leather jacket. It was a simple trick. She took money and switched it with an Ace of diamonds. A simple token to trade. At first it worked. She had the money but a few minutes later when she went to check again she had her card. Only now it had a phone number. One that belonged to a Jack Wilder. It also had an address of a coffee shop. Astrid decided to take a leap of faith and went. The minute she walked in and saw him sitting in the corner with sunglasses and that same black leather jacket she knew it was over. Then the rest was history. Ace and a Wildcard. What could go wrong?
