They now live unlike warriors, not hunting, but stealing. Everything changes when Ribbon receives a vision from Starclan themselves, proving their existence. A new omen is placed on her shoulders, but no one trusts her enough to listen. She will do this alone.

-Book one of "the great darkness"- *ranked mature for some heavier themes.* "A great darkness is coming, and the clans must fall to one if they wish to defeat it" is a prophecy given to the clans. But when the stars go silent, chaos and destruction follows, leaving the fate of the clans in the paws of a young tomcat. Driven by instructions he received in a cryptic dream and the desperate need to escape, he embarks on a journey that will test both his mental and physical strength. The path laid out before him is filled with danger, both from the world and his own fretted mind. Haunted by the guilt and nagging fear of becoming like the cat who hurt him, his journey will lead him far from anywhere he's ever been before-where every choice could shape and change both himself and the thing he is unknowingly trying to save. But with every step, his greatest battle may just be against himself.
