(Under editing) #Book1 of "The Heart Series" ──── ୨୧ ──── Four years ago, Indhu walked away from love, heartbreak, and the boy who once shielded her in the rain-Vihaan. He was her first love, the one she believed never saw her the same way. What she thought was an unrequited crush turned into a painful memory, marked by misunderstandings and unresolved emotions. They met again through the wedding of Indhu's best friend, Aadya and Vihaan's older brother Arnav, an event that should have been a happy beginning but instead left her heartbroken. Convinced she had moved on, she built a life on her own terms-until Vihaan reappeared. Vihaan, cold and unreadable, never let anyone get close-especially not Indhu. He buried his feelings, mistaking distance for control. But when the truth behind their past finally comes to light, he refuses to let her slip away again. Now bound to the man she tried to forget, Indhu finds herself trapped between past wounds and present desires. And as possessive tension, lingering resentment, and years of unspoken longing collide, she fights to guard her heart while Vihaan struggles to claim what was always his. But in a game of denial and temptation, who will surrender first? ──── ୨୧ ──── Starting Date: 13/03/2025. Ending Date: [NOTE: This story is purely my imagination. Please don't copy or repost. When I said to my mom, "Mumma, I'll come back in just four hours," she glared at me and said, "Just four hours? Isn't that too soon? Why don't you just come tomorrow? That would be better. I'll tell your dad that his beloved daughter didn't come home all day today." Hearing this, I couldn't help but smile a little, and I shook my head slightly to say no. "Oh, my loving mom, the reason I said I'd be back so late is because I want to go see some dear children. It's Wednesday today, so they must all be waiting for me. I'll come back soon, have lunch, and then head to the office." Just then, my dad walked in and overheard the conversation. He said, "Oh, so my daughter is going to the orphanage?" I smiled at him and nodded. Then I quickly ran over to him and gave him a big hug. "Dad, please explain to mom that I'm your beloved daughter, and these days, she's scolding me a lot," I said with mock anger, pouting. Dad chuckled softly and said, "Yes, I'll tell her not to say anything to my daughter." At that moment, a sarcastic voice chimed in, saying, "Yes, it's you who is spoiling your daughter." I turned to dad and said, "See, see, she's saying that to you!" We all laughed softly, and dad placed his hand on my head and said, "Take care, and call me once you reach there." I nodded in agreement. Night had started to fall, but Aarohi neither came home for lunch nor called. It was about to be 10 PM. What had happened to Aarohi? Was she compelled by something? Did something happen to her? And will someone save her? Stay tuned to find out the full story.
