Doing so fosters a loathing for the other side of the war, the blame for all your side has lost in the conflict. Without the war finding its end, the next generation ends up no different, that hatred bred into them. Would a man be correct in thinking he is on the right side? He finds himself taking a job to infiltrate the enemy, gain their trust, learn their secrets, their weaknesses, and report back to base. There is no right side, only the one you fight for.
