Y/N was known to be the "Queen of the Court", with her maturity and level-headed thinking when it came to matches. It gave her complete dominance over the court- like a chess player moving each piece to her own will. Everyone adored her, but she didn't like the attention. It was the opposite for Kageyama Tobio. He was nicknamed "King of the Court" for being a selfish dictator. He didn't mind whatever he was called as long as he could still play, but that was until it cost him a match- the same one that would be his last. Sure, it was only a slap on the wrist: being benched during a game in middle school. But for him, it was everything. And he has never been the same since. Kageyama went to Karasuno because of the rumour that Ukai, the famous coach, would be back. For Y/N, coincidentally, heard the same rumour and reasoned to herself that she just wanted to spend her high school life with volleyball still by her side. Close but also so far- having decided to live vicariously so that she won't have to carry the heavy crown of playing it. But now, with the famous prodigies, King and Queen, in the same school, how then can Kageyama and Y/N navigate their high school lives if they're constantly being tangled in each other's businesses? It doesn't help that, unfortunately, the two hate each other's guts after being paired against their will in their small volleyball world. "I was just checking out the school," She shrugged. (Y/N) and Kageyama grew up together and were good friends. In middle school (Y/N) 's father passed away in an accident, and she isolated herself from the world. With the help of Kageyama she came back and made friends with quite an odd bunch of volleyball players.

Y/N transferred to Karasuno High, after a long first day at school, she went to the volleyball gym to practice . After bumping into a salty blond haired boy, she soon becomes the assistant coach for the boys volleyball team. She gets along with everyone on the team and soon falls in love with the coaches roll. Y/N gets closer and closer the salty boy over time. And both started to fall for one another without even realizing it. -this does have some language!!

Karasuno's girl's volley ball team has been disbanded due to injury, and lack of practices. Due to unforeseen circumstances you manage to get on to a team, the boys team. Goals soon change for you and you must decide wether your love for a person is stronger than love for a passion. Time to leave the nest little birds.
