We're going to crash a wedding," Asiya said, eyes sparkling with mischief.
"No, that's not a good idea," I (Shyra) replied, frowning.
"Please, Miss Shyra! Just this once-it'll be the first and last time!"
"Nope."
"Come on! We'll be drowning in extra classes for the next two months. This is our only week of freedom before the dread begins."
I hesitated. "Hmm... fine. But just this once."
"You're the best!" Asiya squealed, throwing her arms around me.

.
"Who are you?" the man in green asked sharply. "This event is for family and close friends only." His tone was cutting. I couldn't meet his glare.
"We're family," Asiya said coolly.
"Oh really?" the man in blue replied, suspicious. "I've never seen you before."
"That's because we just became family," Asiya said without missing a beat.
I blinked. "Asiya, wha-"
"Yes, I'm Shazain Mir Shah's fiancée," she announced. "And she's Hamza Mir Shah's. Do you have a problem with that?"
Both men froze. The one in green stared at me hard. I kept my eyes down.
"Shyra, let's go," Asiya said, tugging my sleeve.
"You can't just leave," the man in blue snapped.
"Oh? Are you my father? I wasn't asking for permission."
"Asiya, that's rude," I whispered. "Sorry about her-she's a little dumb, you see."
Asiya shot me a look but didn't argue.
"Let's go, Sii."
"You're lying," the man in green said coldly.
That's when I met his gaze. Fierce. Unblinking.
"I said my friend is dumb, not a liar."
The tension cracked like glass, but neither man said a word as we brushed past them.
But we never know how we got tangled with people .
Shyra nad asiya never dreamed that someday they will become the wife of ones they said they are wife of for camouflage.
