After their first encounter, he wants HER. And she was never going to be able to escape HIM. Nathan Brown had a reputation for relentlessly pursuing whatever he set his sights on-and now, Tacha was next. For Tacha, her life was messed up! Heartbreak has a way of unravelling even the strongest minds especially when the betrayal comes from someone you once trusted. Betrayed and humiliated, Tacha is left with nothing but the echo of cruel laughter and a wound that cuts deeper than she's willing to admit. "Tacha, date someone as hot as you with that smelly personality of hers," said her closest cousin. The words linger. They burn. So for one night--just one--she decides to forget. No rules. No regrets. Just a distraction strong enough to silence the storm inside her. Then she meets him. Nathan Brown. Cold. Controlled. Untouchable. A man whose presence alone commands silence...and fear. Behind closed doors, they call him Ruthless---a name he's never heard, but one he's dangerously close to becoming. What was meant to be a fleeting escape turns into something far more dangerous for Tacha. One wild night. One wrong move. Two lives spiraling toward a collision neither of them can stop. Walking up to Nathan Brown........ may just be the biggest mistake Tacha will ever make.

He placed the wine glass on the table and shifted his gaze to me, "It's a deal." His face broke into a small smile as he stretched his hand out to me. Hesitantly, I shook his. "I hope this goes as intended," I sighed. "Surely," he said, drawing his hand away from mine. "As long as you keep your head in the game and don't grow feelings for me, Ms Pearl." He sneered. "Oh please," I rolled my eyes at him. "I should be the one saying that," I scoffed. The smirk he had on his face, faded into a light frown. "Just to get it out there, Ms Pearl. You are not my type." He said as his gaze bored into mine. ~~~~~~~ For Pearl, the last thing she could ever imagine was faking a relationship with no other, but Billionaire Onyekachi Phillips, a man who came from wealth but broken. But then, there was no better option, all she wanted to do was drive her ex away, the same ex who ghosted her three years ago. For seventeen years, I was trapped in a boring life, the people I made contact with everyday are my parent, Julia and no one else, my aunt drops by occasionally. I want more than that boring life, I want to stop being home school, I want to know how life is by not living under the watchful eyes of my parent and I got it when I spent my last year in high school at Blake high school. It was crazy, I experienced a lot, I met the mighty P-12, Every happy Linda, Annoying Amy, mysterious Isabella, Joel and his bully crew, playful Zion, boyish and troublesome Mitchello, cunny Irantiola, sweethearted Bee and my heartrob leandro. I learnt something which I still held with me till today, the people you least expected to hurt you will hurt you most, you can never tell someone can hurt you until the person hurt you. I am glad I left home, I made some mistakes and I learnt my lesson, never judge someone you just met because you can never tell their story, how life has dealt with them, what makes them what they are presently, I have a lot to talk about in my story.
