Ezzy gets out of Tartarus alive with an unexpected gift from her mother. She's scary than ever and stronger than before. Even before she fell, she was scary. Now, she's terrifying. Her powers are stronger and her gift is even stronger.

*First book to the Daughter of Magic Series. Takes place during Mark of Athena* Esmeralda Weber is the daughter of Hecate. Esmeralda is a headstrong girl with an attitude and fashion sense that puts the Aphrodite girls to shame. When she finds out there's a quest to save the world, she desperately wants to go. She sneaks on the Argo II, hiding and only coming out when everyone was either out doing something or everyone was asleep. She was caught when by Frank when Esmeralda snuck out to get food. Jason tries to get rid of her, but Esmeralda ends up staying. She proves to be a good asset to the quest when her powers are used to protect the ship on multiple occasions. Eventually, Esmeralda and Frank get closer and begin to grow feelings for each other. They end up together but aren't sure what do after the battle. Esmeralda wants to stay to help her brothers and sisters, but Frank has a duty to Camp Jupiter.

*Third Book of the Daughter of Magic Series* Esmeralda 'Ezzy' Weber stands with the seven. Even though she looks like she has it together on the outside, Ezzy's breaking on the inside. She had mostly held it together after coming out of Tartarus but now she can't. Frank helps her through and Ezzy's finally getting to her best. She helps the crew through the battles and ends up at the battle in Athens. She fights tooth and nail for her camp. When the war ends, she returns to Camp Half-Blood, changed and unsure. She fought and had struggled with her time in Tartarus. She was broken and Frank was there to help.
