College student Cara Sanders has lived a tough life but keeps her head up all the same. One night at a bar, Cara and Vic Fuentes meet on unlikely terms. Vic is immediately interested in this girl, but Cara isn't so sure. She hasn't let a boy near her since the incident with her alcoholic of a father.
