5 years. It has been 5 years since Chicago's Intelligence Unit lost their finest cop. She was smart, talented, and loved. Erin Lindsay didn't have much of a choice when leaving Chicago. This was her home, she had the first father figure, she had a stable group of friends, a stable job, but most importantly, she had Jay Halstead, the love of her life. He tried to call her, but she declined all the calls, changed her number, and moved to New York. She got Voight to pull some strings to work with the FBI. Little did she know, she was pregnant, and it could only be one person's. What happens when Erin must come back to Chicago and face her old life?

Erin moved to new York to join the FBI she did a drug test and it came back clean but the lab tech told her she was pregnant NBC The carters don't belong to me they belong to Dick wolf.

This story will be about detective Jay Halstead and detective Erin Lindsay from NBC Chicago PD. This story is about their everyday lives being hero's stopping the criminals of Chicago in the intelligence unit of the 21st district. This story will show the challenges that Linstead must go through everyday at work but also in their personal lives to get to where they want to be. These are not my characters and I do read alot of Linstead fan fiction so if something seams similar to your story I am sorry I am not copying, these are just the ideas that get stuck in my mind.
