Callum feels a strange presence and decides that with 4 years left before Aaravos returns, they needed to find a way to defeat him for good as quickly as possible. Ezran initially disagrees with his brother's reckless choice, but decides to help by calling someone familiar to the mission with Terry. While Callum, Rayla, Soren and Corvos go ahead in search of the moon's primary rock that Aaravos had created 3 years ago. This is a spoiler-free summary of Book 1. I intend to release 3 books IN THE SAME HISTORY, as the creators of the series said there would be 3 more seasons, so as I don't have the patience to wait 7 years for the eighth season to arrive, here's what I think will happen.

In this alternative storyline, set two years after the events in the show, best friends Callum and Rayla decide to continue working together to stop a war that has already been set in motion. Rayla has discovered a mysterious relative named Zalmai in the sunfire kingdom who may hold the secret to her parents disappearance. Rayla convinces Callum to join her because Zalmai is also a world renown Sunfire sage and could teach the young mage new magical abilities. In this story, Virin was never able to escape his prison in Katolis and has slowly gone mad by Aaravos' cruel whispers. As for Rayla and Callum, well... they were never quite able to figure out their relationship in Season 3 and so they stayed friends and let the angst build for two agonizing years! This is basically a modern AU of Rayla and Callum going through high school.

Seventeen years have passed since the defeat of Viren, Claudia, and then with great effort and sacrifice defeated, the north star Elarion, the fallen star, the last of the Greats, the bearer of gifts, the dark brother, the arch mage Aaravos. And twenty years have passed since the return of the Dragon Prince to Xadia. During this time the world has changed. Now, however, there is one more thing left to do.... I would just like too say this is pure fanfiction. All characters other than Luna belong to the show/book 'The Dragon Prince'. sorry if i got the copyright part wrong, I couldn't exactly figure that part out. Luna has been training to be an assassin since her eldest brother Azari (whom she was very close with) died when she was 4 years old. After 11 hard years of training ( she is now 15 ) she goes on her first mission, along with Rayla, Runaan, and some other elves, to kill king Harrow and 10 year old prince Ezran of Katolis as revenge for killing the dragon prince. But when she and Rayla find that the dragon prince is still alive her, Rayla, Ezran, and Callum (the step prince of Katolis) go on a deadly mission to return the dragon prince back to it's mother( the queen of dragons ) in Xadia. ( if you watch the show "the dragon prince" on Netflix this will all make a lot more sense)
