Moth doesn't date unless it leads somewhere real. For him, distance and rules are how feelings stay manageable.
Dean believes the opposite - that you date to understand yourself, to experience connection without demanding permanence.
When they come together under an agreement meant to stay casual, both think they're in control. No promises. No expectations. No attachments.
But intimacy doesn't stay obedient.
What starts as physical closeness slowly turns volatile - marked by jealousy they won't name, silence that hurts more than words, and the realization that pulling away doesn't erase feeling, it sharpens it. Each tries to protect themselves, only to discover that restraint can wound just as deeply as vulnerability.
This is a story about control breaking down, about irritation turning into longing, and about the quiet moment when you realize you've fallen - not loudly, not willingly, but completely.
Note: This story begins halfway in - after Moth and Dean have already entered a physical relationship under a mutual agreement, believing they know exactly where the line is...thats what they thought

I couldn't stop thinking about Dean and Moth-about who they are and how their story might unfold. Since I don't know when their series will be released, I decided to write something of my own for them.
I'm not sure how long this story will be, but the thoughts just wouldn't leave me, so I gave writing a try.
I hope you enjoy this journey with Dean and Moth. Please leave lots of comments-I'd love to hear your thoughts.
