Giyuu is roommates with Uzui and one night being left alone he is tired of the thoughts that rush into his brain and he tries to hurt himself but he remembers his friend and roommate who said he'd be back later and he decided he needs to talk to someone and call the suicidal hotline. a man answers and they talk for a while until Giyuu feels better and before anything else could be said about the situation or even done Giyuu hangs up. Then he goes to work a few hours later and runs into that same voice over the phone, but he is met with the truth about the man on the phone. the man is a dick who is rude and mean.

basically it's then going on a long mission against a powerful demon together to defeat a demon , they face a lot of challenges together

Modern AU. The Hashira and Kamaboko squad are all students (apart from Gyomei who is their friend outside of School.) Giyuu doesn't do well at school, he has long term hypothermia from when he got lost on a mountain in a snowstorm as a kid and left unconscious for weeks, almost freezing to death. If it weren't for Urokadaki, he would have died. But now the consequences get worse. Shinobu bugs Giyuu as she discovered this quickly. Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine!
