Evan Buckley moves to LA and becomes a firefighter for LAFD, station 118. While at work, he meets new coworker Eddie Diaz and is immediately attracted to him, causing Buckley too act jealous and cold towards Eddie. Eddie however, takes a liking to Evan and wants to become friends, and eventually even more. only issue is, neither of them want anyone to know about their little 'secret', so the question is, how long can they keep it a secret for?

Eight months after a fight that tore them apart, Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz haven't spoken. Buck changed firehouses, blocked Eddie's number, and tried to move on. But when Eddie is injured on duty and the hospital calls the one name still listed as his emergency contact, Buck's entire world comes crashing back. Now faced with the man he swore to forget, Buck has to decide if some bonds can ever really be broken - or if love has been waiting all along, just on the other end of the line.

buck and Eddie had been married for almost five years and 3 of those years buck spent alone with Christopher. not long after buck joined the 118 Eddie lost his job at the 133 after a fire was set at the station. Eddie didn't wanna join another station at the time so he talked to buck about joining the military again. Eddie got deployed and has been gone for 3 years.
