Javi has always believed he is the flaw in his own story-the quiet mistake no one bothers to correct. Growing up in a world that seemed to discard him as easily as it noticed him, he learned to shrink himself, to expect less, and to leave before anyone else could. One by one, the people he held onto disappeared, until abandonment felt less like an accident and more like a pattern he couldn't escape. And yet, in the small, unwavering kindness of his cousin, there remains a fragile reason for him to stay.
Then, by pure chance-or something that feels dangerously close to fate-he meets Evi.
Evi is everything Javi is not: sharp-tongued, unafraid, and unapologetically present. Where Javi fades into the background, Evi takes up space without asking permission. Their differences should have pushed them apart instantly. Instead, they collide-again and again-until distance becomes impossible. Somewhere between arguments, silences, and moments neither of them fully understands, Javi begins to feel something shift. Not just toward Evi, but within himself.
But growing up means facing truths that don't always choose you back.
As Javi stands on the edge of who he used to be and who he might become, one question lingers heavier than the rest: will Evi ever truly see him-not as someone easy to leave behind, but as someone worth staying for? Or will she become just another name in the long list of people he almost had?
In a story shaped by quiet heartbreaks and uncertain beginnings, Javi must decide whether to keep chasing something that may never be his-or finally learn how to choose himself.
