Misha Belikov Cruzado believes that a single life is a peaceful life. For her, being alone is enough. She doesn't want a partner who might destroy the peace she worked hard to build. Living alone in her own house and running the coffee shop she worked so hard for is already enough for her. She almost has a perfect life. Her family loves her, she has friends she can call when she has problems, and she has pets that keep her company. But of course, at her age, people can't help but ask when she will settle down. She always answers, "There will be a right time and a right person." But behind that answer was fear-fear of losing the peace she protected, fear of repeating the pain of her past. As a transgender woman, she was proud of who she was, yet loving had never been easy for her heart. So she let life decide. She believed that if love was meant to come, it would find her on its own. What she didn't know was that fate had already begun to move and his name was Octavio Romulo Barrera, a four-year college architecture student. The one who would quietly disturb the peace she once thought she would keep forever.

He hated him. At least, that's what Caspian Villarreal kept telling himself. He hated the way Aurelien Yen Soriano looked too soft for this world, like he didn't belong in the noise and chaos Casp lived for. Hated how one glance could punch a hole straight through his armor. Hated the sound of his voice too gentle, too honest because it made Casp feel things he swore he wasn't built to feel. Caspian didn't care. He couldn't care. That was homo shit, and he wasn't about that. No way in hell. So why the fuck did his chest burn every time Aurelien smiled at someone else? Why did his fists clench when another guy leaned too close? Why did his whole world grind to a stop the night he saw him crying in his car, and realized he couldn't walk away? Cause years of pretending he didn't care, of looking the other way just to protect whatever was left of his pride it didn't work anymore. Fuck his pride. Fuck the walls he built. Fuck the fear, the noise, the rules he grew up with. He didn't care anymore. He wanted him. And he was going to get him. Caspian swore he was in control. But Aurelien was about to ruin everything.
