After the end of stranger things, Mike never stops believing that Eleven is still out there. Two years pass, during which Mike looses his mind. He has a diagnosed depression. One day through a coincidence, Mike meets a woman and he instantly knows, this has to be Eleven. She looks a bit different. At the beginning, it is hard for them to be with eachother again because they have changed. Someday, they open up about the things, they experienced in the two years they haven't seen eachother and through that, their bond gets stronger again.

This byler story is set in another universe, a normal one. Will, an 16 year old teen goes on a school in Germany as an exchange student. He plans to stay one year. On the first day at the new school, he notices a guy, who always sits alone. He goes to him and wants to talk to him. After an uncomfortable interaction with so called Mike, Will goes home, relieved about the day, but also in his thoughts about Mike.
