Tim Bradford, who lives alone with his son Theo after his wife Isabel left them four years ago. When Tim starts a relationship with Lucy Chen, it is hard for Theo to accept someone new in his dad's life. At the same time, Theo struggles with his own problems and tries to figure out who he is and where he belongs. The story follows their challenges as they slowly learn to deal with change and rebuild their family.
