The theater! After a year of at Deanwood University, Rosie finally plucks up the courage to join the annual summer theater camp that puts on some of the best productions in the city. Though the play in question is a familiar one, she decides to stick with costuming, so she can watch the excitement from the shadows of backstage. But, as a series of events drags her out of the shadows, she discovers that her little endeavor in the theater is making out to be the wildest ride of her life, and there is nothing she can do to stop it from disrupting her simple little life. Hot actors, impossible prima donnas, unpredictable directors, and the ever-present feeling of change electrify every moment Rosie spends in the theater, and she slowly begins to realize that once the theater has you, it never lets go.
