Luna Woods joined the Avengers after they saved the world from Thanos. She was reclusive and liked her privacy. She did her job and she did it well. That was all that mattered to Luna and, in her eyes, that was all that should matter to her teammates. However, her partner didn't see it that way. Bucky Barnes knew nothing about the woman Tony had paired him with. Luna was reckless and always tried to do everything on her own. She took needless risks and put herself in danger instead of asking for help. She didn't trust the team to have her back, so how could he trust her to have his? When Tony sends Bucky and Luna on a two month mission that requires them to pose as newlyweds, it's a recipe for disaster. The two can barely stand being in the same room together and now they're expected to live together and pretend to be in love in order to accomplish their mission. Neither expects the mission to go smoothly, but what they don't expect is that this mission will change their lives forever. As Bucky begins digging into Luna's past and unexpected feelings surface, will they be able to navigate the new dynamics of their relationship while fighting off an unexpected threat? They say there's a fine line between love and hate, but neither Bucky nor Luna realized just how thin that line was until they've unknowingly crossed it. Warning: Mature content 18+ violence and sexual situations

"But I am my father's daughter, so maybe I could fix him" ~ "You're insufferable" he says and he sighs running his hand through his hair "You're loving it" I say with a slight smirk. ~ Emmaline Stark is the daughter of the infamous billionaire, Tony Stark. After living away from his superhero life, forbidden to ever be involved in such a dangerous place, things change ever so suddenly on her 19th birthday. After a big fight with her father, she makes him agree to let her help the Avengers, but with three ground rules. • Excessive training so she will always be prepared • No missions until she is qualified by him • No romantic involvements with any members of the team She of course agreed on everything, finding silly that he would even think she would want an avenger, since everybody was so nuch older than her, except for Peter of course, but he is her best friend, so he doesn't count. After moving in the Avengers tower, her life changes. But nothing really big is assigned to her for the first 4 months. Until Steve Rogers talks about recruiting an old friend of his. Bucky Barnes is an ex-assasin, mind controlled by HYDRA for years and finally saved by the avengers , who thought they put an end to his misery. Nightmares and paranoia, won't even let him step out of the house which makes him exist more as an entity than a person. When his good friend from the past offers him a job for the avengers, he never thinks he will take it. Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along. Unless one of them let's their guard down first. ~ All rights reserved to the MCU, the only character I own is Emmaline.

You had never been saved. You had to run. You escaped the Red Room on your own. Not because the system failed. Not because someone came to your rescue. Because you chose to. Because you had the nerve. The rage. And even when you made it out, freedom felt like a new kind of cage-just bigger. You got on the Avengers' radar because someone saw what you could do. Not Natasha. Not Clint. Not Tony. It was Steve. The compound was a strange kind of haven. They didn't answer to anyone. Not to governments, not to orders. They weren't soldiers. They were a team-autonomous, rebellious, functional. You didn't know if you could fit into that. But then... then he came along. Bucky Barnes. The Soldier turned man. Quiet. Kind. Brutal. Careful. He wasn't afraid of you. And you didn't know what to do with that.

After the events of Civil War, the Avengers were left fractured emotionally and politically. Some became fugitives, others worked in secret, and several walked away after the battle in Wakanda. Thanos did come... but he never got the chance to snap. The Avengers, divided and bleeding, stood together one last time with unexpected help and stopped him. No one died, but the scars ran deep. Now they are trying to get back together. The world, however, lost faith in its heroes. Governments stopped trusting them. Oscorp rose quietly from the shadows. And old enemies like Zemo began gathering strength, ready to strike when the world's protectors were at their weakest. Nick Fury disappeared after the final battle. But he never stopped watching. From the shadows He was looking for survivors. People with conviction. People who had lost and kept going. People like her. You weren't just another recruit. You were the fire they'd forgotten they needed. "They fight for what was. You... you'll fight for what's next. The world doesn't need more broken idols. It needs new fire. And you... you burn." But not everyone welcomes you. Bucky Barnes doesn't trust easily, especially not someone who knows too much and says too little. You're not afraid of him. He's not sure if that's a good thing. You clash. You fight. And somehow, in the quiet between storms, you begin to fall. Author's note: This story takes place in an altered version of the Marvel universe, where some timelines have been adjusted to fit the narrative. I don't own any of the Marvel characters, they belong to Marvel. Also, English isn't my first language, so I may go back and fix small mistakes as I update. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoy diving into this powerful, messy, and emotional journey.

You were supposed to be out with your friends-dressed up, laughing, celebrating your 23rd birthday. Not bleeding on the sidewalk in the middle of a downtown explosion. Not waking up in a hospital bed, confused, aching, and staring straight into the eyes of a man you'd only seen on screens. He wasn't supposed to be there. But neither were you. Bucky Barnes had no reason to remember you. You weren't an agent. Not a genius. Not anyone important. Just the girl who'd thrown herself between a child and falling debris, and ended up with fractured bones and scars she couldn't see in the mirror without flinching. But he came back. Again and again. At first, you thought it was guilt. Then you realized... it was something else. Now, your life is anything but normal. Secret training sessions. Shadows that follow you home. Enemies whispering your name like you matter. Like you're the crack in his armor they've been waiting to find. And still, when everyone calls you his weakness... He leans in close and whispers: "You're the only reason I haven't given up." You didn't choose this world. But maybe-just maybe-you'll survive it for him. Hi! Just a quick note before you start: this story doesn't follow the original timeline or canon. English is not my first language, so please be patient with any mistakes. Also, I don't own any of the characters - I'm just here to have fun with them. Hope you enjoy the story!

"I just don't think I'll ever have the life I thought I'd have," "I thought I'd go off to war and come back a hero, settle down, have a few kids, you know, the simple life. He's got what he always wanted: to be a hero. But at what cost? Bucky is content with his life. He's defeated his demons and is ready to start his new life. But some days, he can't help but feel like some pieces are missing. I have written this for entertainment in my spare time, and there may be certain discrepancies between storylines. I have tried my best to keep it as close to canon as possible, but that's the fun of fanfic!*
