Mabel was a girl who grew up far too quickly - with no parents, she found herself as an orphan. She lived in an orphanage who let her go at the young age of twelve, believing she was old enough to care for herself. This led to Mabel becoming the very torment that Alfie Solomons would soon grow fond of. He first found her running wild with his dog in the early hours of the morning, barefoot.
